Music Tech Library

An inclusive and accessible library of music technology

South Coast Music Partnership’s (SCMP) Music Tech Library is an exciting new offer to schools and education settings working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

SCMP is launching a pilot programme in 2025–26, starting with an offer of staff ‘play days’ with SEND and Alternative Provision (AP) settings across the South Coast region.

From spring/summer 2026, the library will be open for short term loans.

What’s in the library?

The Music Tech Library has a wide range of music technology.

Laptops and larger stand alone devices etc.

MacBook Air

Software includes GarageBand, Logic Pro X and Ableton Live Suite

Connect a range of MIDI controllers to perform and record using GarageBand, Logic or Ableton Live.

Our Music Tech specialists will bring the library to your setting and help you explore all the pieces included and the resources that come with them. Your feedback will also help shape the support and resources that will be available when the library opens for short term loans starting in Spring/Summer 2026.
